Caribbean country Saint Kitts and Nevis is offering citizenship of the country on US$ 250,000 donation. One can make donation and get the citizenship within three months. Applicants don’t even need to touch the soil of the two-island country.

In its special report, Reuters says it could be an attractive offer as citizens of Saint Kitts and Nevis can travel more than hundred countries without visa. Those more-than-hundred countries include Canada and whole Europe. Besides that, it’s a naturally beautiful place, citizen don’t have to pay income tax and remote areas of the country as ‘safe haven’.

Saint Kitts and Nevis is full of natural beauty

Most of countries in the world welcome rich foreigners and US$ 250,000 is good amount of money. But probably this offer is going to attract criminals a lot as well. Although there will be a background check of the applicants, but accuracy of background checks in whole world have been under question. So, we might see many countries ending the provision of travelling without visa for Saint Kitts and Nevis citizens in future.

Though, officially this offer is called ‘investment’. Applicant has to make donation to Sugar Industry Diversification Foundation of the country to get the citizenship. A large number of counties in the world offer a way to citizenship via investment, but generally that’s not a guaranty to citizenship unlike the process in Saint Kitts and Nevis.

Dominica, a country in the Caribbean Sea, also has similar citizenship process with lesser cost of US$ 75,000.

This formula is derived using the factors like weather condition, debt, days to Christmas, time since failing of the new year resolution, low motivation level and feeling of a need to take action. Blue Monday is supposed to fall on the Monday of last full week of January generally, but it’s today this year. Last year some people found 17th January to be most depressive while some people claimed it was 24th. (So, apparently the formula is not so mathematical.)

As the proposed formula is affected by Christmas, so probably results would be different if effect of Christmas is less on you. Good part of this day is, so many people choose this day as day of doing nice things to others and try to cheer others up. So despite being depressive ‘mathematically’, this day could be one of the most exciting day of the year, if you do it right.

Andaman & Nicobar Islands are located in the Bay of Bengal in the Indian Ocean. The cluster of hundreds of islands is governed by India. These islands attract a big count of tourists for spectacular natural views. Some of the islands contain the tribes that have been living for thousands of years.

Recently, British newspaper The Observer released a video (possibly shot by a tourist) showing half-naked tribal women dancing in front of the tourists for food. Watch the video at The Guardian.

The video shows women of Jarawa tribe dancing as a police man asks them to dance for food. Though, Indian law prohibits contacting and photographing the Jarawas. The tribe has 403 members currently.

The incidents raises a huge concerns as activists of tribal rights display the worries. The islands are turning into a tourist attraction for Human Safari. Tourists are taken to the prohibited locations at Andaman Islands where tourist throw fruits for tribal people like it is done at the animal safaris. The local police is said to be involved in this illegal business too.

After revelation of the incident by media, there is an uproar in India, as top officials of the Indian government are showing concerns as well. Let’s hope the country manages to protect the tribes and stop unfortunate business like Human Safari.
